The role:
The company offers investment strategies across a wide range of equity and fixed income asset classes in both pooled funds and segregated mandates. The Reporting and Analytics Analyst role will be part of a team responsible for the compilation of the client and consultant reporting efforts of the firm. This is a fantastic opportunity for a data centric professional to join their high achieving team on a long-term contract.
Key responsibilities:
Compilation and review of monthly fact sheets
Compilation and review of monthly & quarterly client reports covering a range of asset classes
Updating and review of investment consultant databases
Responding to daily data requests from both internal & external clients
Data analysis and working with Product Managers as part of the product development process
Engaging in continuous process improvement and report automation
To be successful in this role you will have:
Experience in a data centric role within the financial services industry (ideally in funds management)
Excellent numerical and analytical skills
High level Excel competency, working with Factset is beneficial
Strong attention to detail
Tertiary qualifications in a finance, economics, or quantitative discipline.
VBA, Python and associated coding experience and knowledge would be viewed positively.
