Our client is among the leading life insurers in the Australian market. This highly regarded organisation is renowned for offering expertise in designing and executing insurance programs for their partners, clients and customers. They are keen to hire a Senior Product Developer with a strong Direct or Retail Life Insurance background and a proven history on creating and delivering product solutions.
The Opportunity
This is a unique opportunity to work across and amalgamate different insurance propositions and align them to provide unique and market leading opportunities to customers. You will be responsible for the product strategy, being the lead on product initiatives and engaging & influencing stakeholders to work together and meet company objectives.
Key accountabilities
Day to day core product development duties
Proactively drive the project to meet key deadlines
Provide technical life insurance guidance and support
Interpret and diagnose issues, identify trends and emerging problems
Collaborate with relevant internal and external stakeholders
To be successful in this role you will have
Proven product development experience
Be a self-starter with demonstrated experience in Life Insurance Product Management
Strong understanding of insurance markets, competitors, and the legislative and compliance markets
Product Technical knowledge in Retail Risk
