Workshop 1: Crossing the divide between Marketing and Digital teams
In 1997, Alex got a job in I.T. as a web designer when most people had no clear idea what that was. In the two decades since then, Alex has worked in the UK, the US and Australia, moving through the world of IT and digital platform development, across to agency land and back again into client-side marketing leadership roles, most recently spending a decade at Aussie Home Loans and CBA. Based in Sydney, Alex is a passionate advocate of simplicity and marketing fundamentals, a coach and mentor, amateur renovator, aircraft geek and human climbing frame for his 2 small kids.

Lover of good photography, fire + bread + marmite, the sound of ice in a glass, cooking, fine Pale Ales, Ricky Gervais and being on two wheels.
