The Organisation:
A well respected and client centric global Investment Manager based in Sydney is currently looking for an assistant product manager to join their high performing product team. The objective of this organisation is to provide high quality and relevant products to clients across asset classes and regions. The Opportunity:
This organisation is keen to hire an Assistant Product Manager to join their high-performing team. The role will support new product development and day to day product management of the product range and to provide support to the product team in driving and implementing BAU and project activity.

This will include elements of the Product lifecycle (e.g. Fund Review, Development, Build/Set Up, Launches, Terminations), supporting enterprise-wide projects, product governance, Committee and Board approvals and reporting.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Providing support to the product team on varied product development initiatives, ongoing product management and projects as required:
  • Assist with the creation and launch of products, including preparation of offer documents and on-going fact sheets updates and profitability analysis;
  • Work closely with Compliance teams to ensure that regulatory changes for responsible entities are applied in relation to the funds;
  • Work closely with Operations team on operational set up of new funds and fund changes, regulatory changes, client queries and RFP requests;
  • Support the Distribution teams with researcher/consultant reviews and requests, competitor analysis, maintenance of performance reference guides:
  • Producing quarterly reports to be presented to the Board of Directors.

To be successful in this role you will possess:

  • Asset/wealth management industry knowledge and experience (investments, superannuation or platforms background)
  • Ideally experience in an entry level product role
  • Strong analytical skillset and mindset
  • Strong communications skills, stakeholder management
  • Quick learner, eager to learn
  • Organizational, coordination skills, can work and deliver in a fast paced environment and under pressure
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Results orientated with a strong focus on continuous self-improvement and learning.
  • Ability to collaborate, influence and work effectively within a team environment
