The Opportunity
We are looking for a hands-on Senior Product Manager to oversee the day-to-day management and optimisation of an existing suite of commercial lending products. This generalist product role is ideal for someone who enjoys working across multiple functions to improve product performance, drive operational enhancements, and deliver great outcomes for customers and the business.
In this role, you'll manage a small team and collaborate closely with stakeholders across credit, risk, operations, technology, and distribution. You'll play a key part in ensuring products run smoothly, remain compliant, and continue to meet market and customer needs.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the ongoing performance and development of the commercial lending product portfolio
Lead a small team, providing guidance and oversight to ensure quality execution and support
Coordinate product changes and improvements with cross-functional teams
Monitor market activity and customer feedback to identify practical opportunities for product optimisation
Ensure products meet internal governance standards and regulatory requirements
Support the development of business cases and documentation for product updates
Partner with stakeholders to troubleshoot issues and drive continuous improvement
Ideal Experience
Strong experience in commercial lending within financial services
Proven track record in managing financial products through their lifecycle
Excellent collaboration and communication skills across technical and non-technical teams
Team leadership or mentoring experience
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with a focus on delivery and execution
A pragmatic, customer-focused mindset with attention to detail
