The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity has emerged for a skilled Data Analyst to join their dynamic team in a hybrid role that bridges core data functions, strategy development, and commercial P&L management. This position offers the unique chance to directly influence the fund's superannuation and retirement strategy through data-driven insights.
This is a 6-month contract opportunity for a Sydney based candidate with immediate availability.
Key Accountabilities
Analyse complex datasets to extract meaningful insights that inform and enhance the fund's retirement and superannuation strategy
Collaborate closely with the enterprise data team to develop and implement data models that drive commercial decision-making
Translate analytical findings into actionable recommendations for improving member outcomes and business performance
Support P&L management through data-driven forecasting and performance analysis
Create compelling visualisations and reports that effectively communicate insights to stakeholders across the organisation
Contribute to strategic planning by identifying emerging trends and opportunities within the superannuation sector
Develop and maintain dashboards that track key performance indicators related to member engagement and product performance
Ideal Experience
Proven experience in data analysis within financial services, preferably in superannuation or retirement planning
Strong technical skills in data manipulation, statistical analysis, and visualisation tools
Excellent understanding of commercial P&L structures and financial metrics
Ability to translate complex data insights into strategic business recommendations
Experience working in collaborative, cross-functional environments
Strong communication skills with the ability to present technical findings to non-technical audiences
Familiarity with the superannuation regulatory landscape and industry trends is advantageous
