Our client is an independent provider of investment products within Australia. Through their strategic partnerships with international and Australian fund managers, they provide investment solutions across a diverse range of asset classes including Australian and international securities.
The Opportunity
This is a great opportunity for a junior financial services professional to join this high performing team. The role is responsible for contributing to the delivery and ongoing oversight of prospective and existing multi-asset funds and managed accounts investment solutions. The role will focus on undertaking investment governance, operations and investment implementation tasks.
Key Accountabilities
Investment Governance and Operational tasks
Daily cash flow management, portfolio trading and distribution process for multi-manager funds
Investment implementation and rebalancing of multi-manager funds and managed accounts
Liaise with fund administrator/custodian, platform administrators and investment managers on investment operational matters
Preparation of client reports
Investment performance and compliance monitoring
Portfolio fee calculations and analysis under the RG97 regime
Underlying manager rebate reconciliation and receipt process for multi-manager funds / managed accounts
Stakeholder management with internal and external stakeholders
Process management and process improvement
To be successful in this role you will have
Experience in funds/asset management, ideally in an operations and/or investment reporting role
Strong understanding of investments, asset allocation and funds management
Strong analytical skillset and mindset
Strong communications skills (verbal and written)
Confident Excel user (formulas)
Good prioritization skills
Quick learner
Tertiary qualified in a relevant business discipline
