The Role

There is currently an opportunity for an experienced professional to join the Trustee Office team as a Manager. Reporting to the Head of the Trustee Office, Member Investment Outcomes, this role is to assist the Trustees to fulfil their statutory and fiduciary obligations by providing superannuation product related advice and support, ensuring that the members best interests and outcomes are consistent with the superannuation product strategy and business plan.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Reviewing and updating Trustee governance documents to reflect changes to the business operating model and updates to regulatory and legislative requirements

  • Reviewing business proposals, identifying and managing any potential conflicts of interest, to ensure proposals will enable the Trustee to meet its obligations,

  • Assisting in monitoring and oversight of the of legal agreements between the Trustee and its service providers

  • Liaising with the Trustee's asset consultant on investment related matters

  • Attending committee meetings and workshops to ensure agreed actions are accurately captured and implemented appropriately

  • Responding to regulatory requirements and changes on super product related matters

To be successful for the role you will have:

  • Strong investments experience and technical knowledge (investment product and product governance or asset consultant background is beneficial)

  • Very strong influencing and stakeholder management skills

  • Effective risk management capabilities

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Customer centric approach
