The Company

Our client is a consumer led, product focused company with a brand name that people love and trust. They are an Australian brand who is reinventing the mortgages industry. They are looking for a junior social media and coordinator Specialist to join their passionate high performing Marketing Team.

The Role

This permanent full-time role provides an exciting opportunity to drive and execute social media and content marketing initiatives for the organisation's national social media strategies, content marketing and communications programs.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Deliver support by way of content marketing and social media on a daily basis, leveraging internal support platforms
  • Support the Senior Manager PR & Communications to work with content marketing agency to create effective, insight driven content that support the organisation's brand strategy
  • Identification of opportunities to leverage both market and business performance data, plus human interest and customer stories for use to create social media and content marketing assets in a variety of formats
  • Manage and own social media community management guidelines and training of support teams

To be successful for the role you will have:

  • 2-3 years content marketing, communications or journalism experience - client or agency side
  • Understanding of digital channels and their role in the communications matrix, plus proven experience in digital content marketing, social media management
  • Experience with a CMS
  • Financial services experience will be highly regarded
