The Company

Our client is a boutique funds manager focused on protecting and creating wealth for our clients. There is currently an opportunity for a Content and Social Media Consultant to join their high performing team based in Sydney.

The Opportunity

The Content and Social Media Consultant is responsible for a wide variety of content, communications and social media management to drive reach, growth and engagement of investors.

Key accountabilities:

  • Regularly create and internally produce engaging written and video content, to drive interest and engagement of investors and potential investors.
  • Create investor communications to support investor newsletters, marketing campaigns, presentations and other business needs.
  • Support marketing creative needs working alongside our creative agency, and providing some limited design skills internally.
  • Active management of the social media platforms to grow reach and engagement including content creation, posting and scheduling, and actively managing and driving comments and discussions.
  • Assist with the social media strategy and integrated marketing campaigns.
  • Generate insights, report on metrics and continually find new ways to improve, engage and activate our audience through social media.
  • Support with public relations needs across the business including liaising with media agencies
  • Ad hoc marketing support where required eg: Event management support.

To be successful in this role you will have

  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills, with a proactive attitude
  • Experience writing content and hands on experience producing and editing video content.
  • 3 - 5 years' experience managing social media platforms to drive engagement.
  • Financial services essential - Wealth Management experience preferred
  • Undergraduate degree in communications, marketing, advertising, public relations, media studies, business and/or related fields
