The Company

We are currently working with one of Australia's largest industry superfunds who have a vision to be the most trusted choice for super, retirement and advice. This role is open to candidates in both Sydney and Melbourne.

The Opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for a passionate Internal Communications professional to assist in supporting the team on a 6-month contract starting in January. You will be responsible for leading and driving the internal communications strategy, support and advise the CEO and Group Executives on their employee communications, as well as owning the delivery of organisation-wide communications

Key Accountabilities

  • Support the senior manager in delivering an internal corporate communications strategy, as well as maintaining the corporate calendar
  • Partners with Senior Leaders and employees to understand and advise on communication needs and connect employees with the fund's purpose, vision, values, and strategy
  • Support preparation and delivery of Town Halls and regional road shows, leadership and employee meetings, working closely with leaders and external speakers to scope and shape key messages
  • Work closely with employees at all levels of the business to source and shape engaging and strategically aligned content across a range of platforms
  • Develop and report on KPIs to measure and uplift engagement on communication platforms (including the employee intranet, 'Pulse' and Yammer)

To be successful in this role you will have

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in a pure Internal Communications role
  • Demonstrated ability to uplift engagement with colleagues around the brand, vision, and values of an organisation
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Creativity and imagination, with excellent written and verbal communication skills with a high degree of attention to detail
  • Experienced in the use of "Pulse" and "Yammer"
