The Opportunity We're seeking a talented Senior Business Analyst to join a dynamic team at the intersection of data, strategy, and commercial performance. This is a 6-month contract opportunity for a Sydney or Melbourne based candidate.
Key Responsibilities
Interpret complex datasets to deliver insights that enhance superannuation and retirement strategies.
Partner with the enterprise data team to develop data models that inform strategic and commercial decisions.
Transform analytical insights into actionable business recommendations that improve both member outcomes and business performance.
Support P&L management through forecasting, financial modelling, and performance analytics.
Design and deliver clear, insightful dashboards and reports to a range of internal stakeholders.
Monitor emerging trends and sector developments to inform long-term strategic planning.
Track key performance metrics related to member engagement, retention, and product performance.
About You
Strong background in data analysis -experience in financial services or BIG4 consulting is highly desirable.
Proficient in data manipulation, statistical tools, and visualisation platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, SQL).
Solid understanding of commercial P&L structures and financial performance metrics.
Demonstrated ability to turn complex data into clear, strategic insights for non-technical stakeholders.
Collaborative team player with experience working across business units.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Familiarity with the regulatory landscape of superannuation is a bonus.
