The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a commercially minded Senior Product Pricing Manager, Mortgages to join a high-performing lending team. This role sits at the heart of the business, driving pricing strategy, portfolio performance and optimisation across the mortgage book.
You will play a key role in balancing growth, margin and risk, leveraging data-driven insights to inform pricing decisions and enhance portfolio outcomes. Working closely with stakeholders across the business, you will influence strategic direction while ensuring the lending portfolio remains competitive and sustainable in a dynamic market.
Key Accountabilities
Drive the performance and optimisation of the mortgage portfolio, identifying opportunities to improve volume, margin and overall return
Lead pricing strategy across new and existing business, including retention initiatives and competitive positioning
Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform pricing decisions and portfolio strategy
Contribute to forecasting, planning and performance analysis, ensuring alignment with broader commercial objectives
Partner with teams across finance, risk, treasury and distribution to deliver cohesive and effective portfolio outcomes
Provide clear, data-led insights and recommendations to support decision-making at a senior level
Support ongoing enhancement of customer outcomes through pricing and portfolio initiatives across the lending lifecycle
Mentor and support junior team members, contributing to capability uplift within the broader team
Ideal Experience
Strong experience within mortgage or lending environments, with a focus on pricing and portfolio management
Demonstrated ability to manage and optimise lending portfolios to achieve commercial outcomes
Highly developed analytical capability, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
Strong commercial acumen, including experience with forecasting and performance management
Proven ability to influence and collaborate with senior stakeholders across multiple functions
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present insights clearly and confidently
A proactive and delivery-focused mindset, with the ability to manage competing priorities
