The Company
Our client is one of Australia's major players in the life insurance market with a strong reputation across the Retail, Group and direct insurance space.
The Opportunity
This is a brilliant opportunity to work with one of the industry's most experienced, knowledgeable and supportive Managers in an initial 12-month contract role.
The primary focus of this role will be to support the technical and regulatory aspects of individual life insurance whilst providing exceptional support to the various Advisor channels.
Key Accountabilities:
- Contributing to the development and maintenance of technical training, advice strategies and other information sources for key partners including advisers and licensees
- Participating in industry forums in relation to reform and regulatory change on behalf of the Insurer's Individual Insurance division and preparing impact assessments on current and proposed change.
- Ensuring all product offerings remain compliant and support the overall company strategy.
- Providing feedback and reports to the broader leadership team on the current market landscape including competitor analysis
The ideal profile for this role will have:
- Solid knowledge of the current legislation and regulation which impacts the Individual Life Insurance industry.
- Strong analytical and communicational skills
- Excellent influencing skills and ability to build rapport with key advisor channels
- Good technical writing skills
- A strong drive to deliver and lead initiatives.
