The role

As part of a high achieving team the Product Manager role is responsible for the day to day management of platform products. This will be achieved through maintaining competitive and compliant products and solutions, creating strong product value propositions for distribution channels to drive increased cashflow and revenues and retain existing value

Key Accountabilities

  • Review existing products and implement changes to the products and deliver enhancements to ensure optimal value to customers including pricing
  • Product lead and support to ensure successful implementation of regulatory change / compliance initiatives
  • Product lead and support on compliance rectification activity including ensuring incidents identified are rectified within appropriate timeframes and within the Risk Management Framework
  • Project manage completion of product reviews/audits (e.g. fit for purpose, post implementation reviews, annual operating check (including pricing) with a view to uncover issues and reduce the impact of errors
  • Product project implementation including project analysis support, impact assessment, and project delivery roll out
  • Ensuring all product collaterals and documents are current, relevant and compliant with legislation
  • Review, refresh and implement policies/ processes to reduce operational risk
  • Prepare any relevant Board Papers and Reports
  • Set up and run efficient product systems and processes

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Demonstrated product experience in platforms, super, pensions and investments (IDPS/Master trust)
  • Simplification, rationalization experience would be highly regarded
  • Pricing experience would be beneficial
  • Strong understanding of the regulatory environment
  • Strong analytical and implementation skills
  • Strong customer focus, understanding the users and their needs
  • Strong stakeholder management, communications and influencing skills
  • Business related tertiary qualifications e.g. finance/commerce degree, CFA, RG146, CF
  • Sydney or Melbourne based
