Our client is looking for a Product Manager for Platform services with exceptional stakeholder management to support a high functioning and engaged team with great leadership opportunities.

The Opportunity/Role:
As a technical Product Manager with exceptional stakeholder engagement, you will be responsible for product planning and implementation throughout the product lifecycle, including gathering and prioritising product and client requirements, defining the product strategy. Working closely with cross functional teams to ensure the success of your allocated product line in a collaborative team setting. You will be a natural advocate in fostering strong stakeholder and customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

  • Develop and manage a product strategy, roadmap, and market requirements across the product portfolio for Australia and New Zealand products as required that addresses business objectives and allows key stakeholders to contribute

  • Engage with customers and maintain stakeholder relationships to establish needs and market requirements and identify, explore, and prioritise opportunities that address business objectives

  • Establish and maintain the flow of data and analytics to track the performance of the products you manage

  • Serve as the internal evangelist for the respective products/product portfolio

  • Provide context and direction to development teams implementing products

  • Understand and analyse customer needs through quantitative and qualitative analysis to define the product strategy, initiatives, and outcomes

  • Lead a wide range of stakeholders ensuring strong alignment of the strategy and initiatives


To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Demonstrated capability developing a product strategy that balances short-term opportunities with longer-term strategic objectives

  • Demonstrable experience managing a complex stakeholder group and managing through influence and credibility rather than authority

  • Experience presenting and demonstrating products to stakeholders to ensure they understand key strategy

  • Experience working with development teams in an agile development environment

  • Demonstrated product management experience with the delivery of online applications

  • The ability and willingness to travel on occasion between Australia, New Zealand, and globally as required
