Position: Enterprise Architect
Contract Type: 12-Month Contract (with potential for permanent)
Location: Sydney
Daily Rate: $900 - $1000 per day
Overview:
Seeking a commercially minded Enterprise Architect to act as a Portfolio Architect, driving the alignment of platform and product initiatives across a modern, complex technology landscape. This is a key "connector" role aimed at pulling together domains like data centre, on-prem infrastructure, VMware, authentication, and modern workspace strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architect and align platform strategies around VMware, data centre, B2C strategy, storage, backup, authentication, etc.
- Work closely with Product Owners and Platform Owners to ensure a cohesive technology strategy.
- Take a "big picture" view while maintaining technical depth across key traditional infrastructure areas.
- Provide commercial insights and considerations into architecture decisions.
- Support the delivery of a modern workspace.
Ideal Candidate:
- Strong experience with VMware, data centres, on-prem infrastructure, authentication, and storage solutions.
- Demonstrated capability in enterprise or portfolio architecture roles.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to connect platforms and business needs.
- Self-starter, collaborative, and someone who listens and acts on ideas.
- Commercially savvy and understands how architecture impacts business performance.
- Ideally open to a permanent opportunity beyond the contract.
