Our client is an industry leader in the financial services space, with customers at the centre of everything they do. Due to a growth phase they are looking to appoint a Head of Internal Communications to the business on a 12 month contract.
The Opportunity
The Head of Internal Communications/ Internal Communications Lead will be tasked to lead the implementation and delivery of the internal comms strategy, responsible for the roll out of the new channel strategy and related change communications to ensure its success and result in the business in achieving its strategy.
Key accountabilities
Leading the implementation the internal communication strategy, aligned to the overall business strategy
Leading project management and execution of the internal town halls, including partnering with the Executive Team to develop content and brand awareness and perception
Overseeing management of the internal communication channels and content, including social media channel, intranet, employee newsletter, blogs, email newsletters, and desktop visuals.
Providing advice to key stakeholders across the business on internal communications and issues management, managing competing projects to ensure a consistent and coordinated approach to communication activities.
Lead a small team
To be successful in this role you will possess
Proven experience in a senior or head of internal communications role
Financial services experience
Experience building out, implementing and delivering an internal comms strategy within a business
Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to work collaboratively across different areas of the business
