The Role
An opportunity has arisen for an investment analyst professional to join a high performing team in the role of Analyst, Data and Reporting. This role is accountable for the analysis and delivery of reporting relating to the portfolio, its performance, exposures and risk. The role supports the decision making capability and information requirements of the Investments team.
Key Accountabilities:
Responsibility for production of quality investment information to support investment team requirements;
Performance measurement, ex post risk, ex-ante risk and attribution analysis;
Portfolio characteristics and exposures analysis;
Data Stewardship for investment data stored within the internal data warehouse
Portfolio decision evaluation techniques;
Collaborate with stakeholders to implement and/or enhance tools and services to support the investment team.
To be successful for the role you will have:
Strong performance and risk analytics background and/or data management /BI background within the investment/wealth management industry
Knowledge of investments across all asset classes, experience working in a dedicated investment analytics team
SQL programming knowledge and experience is a must
Advanced knowledge of Excel
Relevant tertiary qualifications (mathematics or other quantitative based discipline)
Postgraduate studies, or working towards (CFA, CIPM)
Strong communications and presentations skills
Phyton programming and Power BI knowledge is beneficial
