The Client

Our client is a reputable organisation, and a leader in the investment management space. Due to growth, they are looking to bring on board a daily rate contractor on a 12-month contract to manage the local events for the business.

The Opportunity

Reporting to a supportive Marketing leader, you will be responsible for the end-to-end event management for the business, with the goal to increase brand awareness, achieve partnerships and successful delivery of events over a 12-month period.

Interstate travel will be required. 12-month contract, daily rate and based out of Sydney.

Key accountabilities

  • Responsibility for the end-to-end management of events for the business, ranging from sit down lunches, road shows, conferences, seminars, webinars and large-scale sponsored events.
  • You will be responsible for the logistics around all events, from venue research, budget management, coordination of speakers, setting up registration, catering, collateral and assisting with on-site engagements
  • Work closely with the local and global Marketing team and key stakeholders to ensure the smooth running of events as well as alignment with the marketing plan and strategy
  • Reporting on events ROI and post event measurement, presenting reports for key stakeholders to assess effectiveness of events

To be successful in this role you will possess

  • End to end events management experience (Minimum 2 years)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proactive and can do attitude with a willingness to learn and develop
  • Attention to detail and highly organised
