Job Description
The Company
Our client is a respected financial services organisation with a strong focus on delivering streamlined, customer-friendly lending solutions. Known for their practical and collaborative culture, they are entering a period of accelerated product delivery and require additional support to keep momentum high.
The Opportunity
A short-term contract (3-4 months) has opened for a Sydney-based Product Manager who is immediately available or able to start at short notice. This role sits within a busy lending team preparing for a significant uplift across their product set. With a high volume of changes planned for early next year, they are seeking someone who can quickly step in and support a suite of lending initiatives across both consumer and business segments.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments and enjoys hands-on product delivery work.
Key Accountabilities
Prepare clear and compelling documentation to secure internal approval for new product variations and lending policy adjustments
Translate business needs into structured product requirements to guide development within their loan origination platform
Draft user stories that articulate scope, functionality, and acceptance criteria for delivery teams
Co-ordinate testing cycles (UAT and PVT), ensuring products and policy updates function as intended and align with specifications
Liaise across product, operations, technology, and risk teams to maintain alignment throughout the delivery process
Oversee updates to customer-facing material-including product guides, disclosure documents, and fee information-to ensure accuracy ahead of release
Support smooth execution across all in-scope initiatives and assist in managing fast-moving delivery timelines
Ideal Experience
Lending product experience across either the consumer or business banking landscape
Comfortable producing structured product documentation, user stories, and requirements
Exposure to testing processes and working closely with technology or delivery teams
Strong ability to manage competing priorities in a high-volume change environment
Confident communicator with strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Why Apply?
Contribute directly to a high-impact lending uplift program
Join a supportive, delivery-focused team during a pivotal period
Great short-term contract for those between roles or seeking immediate work
Gain exposure to a broad variety of lending product initiatives
