Our client is one of Australia's leading wealth management companies, offering deposits, residential mortgage and self-managed superannuation fund products to individuals. They believe that their success is driven by the quality of talented people working together to deliver optimum client investment outcomes to the global market. Currently driving their business to the next level of success, they are looking to hire a Product Manager within their Mortgages team
This Role
This is a key hire for the team, with a core focus on growth of the portfolio moving forwards. The successful candidate will focus on both product management and development of the home lending line of business. This includes owning product strategy, pricing, continuous improvement, compliance etc.
Key Accountabilities
Assist the Head of Product with the development and exection of mortgage strategy acting as the SME within the team
Work to optimise the portfolio to ensure growth
Use a data led approach to provide insights and improve the performance of the portfolio
Lead the continuous development of the product suite, in order to maintain market relevance
Ensure that the bank's risk obligations are being met
To be successful in the role you will have:
Product management / development experience within the mortgages sector
Superb knowledge of of the market and competitior landscape
High level of business acumen
Strong interpersonal, stakeholder management and influencing skills
