The Opportunity
Currently, our client is seeking a driven Life Insurance professional to join their growing and high performing product team with a focus on Retail Insurance.
Reporting into the Senior Product Manager, this opportunity will enable you to work within an exceptional team of product professionals supported by leading processes and systems.
Key Accountabilities
- Providing technical expertise for new product development and supporting overall business growth strategy
- Developing and reviewing Policy documents, PDS and customer communications with a strong focus on sustainable product terms
- End to end responsibility for product acquisition government activities
- Being an advocate for a risk-management culture by identifying areas of non-compliance and finding solutions
- Conducting analysis and testing as required
- Providing support on technical matters across all areas of the business
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
- A strong background and understanding of Retail life insurance markets, competitors and the legislative and compliance markets
- A background in Product or Claims
- A deep understanding of product definitions and the ability to assess their impact they have
- Strong commercial acumen
- Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills
- Strong mentoring skills
- Solid problem-solving capabilities
- Customer centric mindset
