The Opportunity/Role:

Our client is looking for a Product Owner to join their organisation and support the local APAC business. Reporting in to Head of Product for Enterprise software, you will be responsible for the software product strategy and APAC objectives while working within a supportive and collaborative team.

  • Ensure all stakeholders, including the development team understand the overall product vision and strategy and the development roadmap

  • In conjunction with Product Manager and Head of Product, define, validate, and prioritise new products or enhancements to existing products, ensuring that they meet the customer needs to achieve the strategic intent and initiatives behind the product as well as optimise the development work performed.

  • Provide the Product Management, Development, Support, Sales, Consulting and Marketing teams with the necessary product expertise to enable them to support, sell and implement the product

Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

  • Acting as the voice of the customer and stakeholder interests to validate and negotiate priorities.

  • Ensure the product backlog aligns to the product roadmap meets the required level of product functionality, quality, accuracy, and performance to deliver on strategic intent.

  • Maintain effective communication with stakeholders.

  • Product development in an agile work environment.

  • Customer Centric Support and Assist and support Product Management in preparing content to feed into the Development, Support, Sales, Consulting and Marketing teams.

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Experience of working in an Agile Product environment would be ideal

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Ability to present to internal and external stakeholders

  • Ability to work autonomously

  • Experience working with software integrations/partnerships ideal but not essential

  • Experience of working as a Product Owner driving deliverables and prioritising backlog.

  • knowledge of a SaaS based product environment would be ideal
