Our client is a well-respected and known organisation in the Australian financial services industry - they are a leading provider of transactional banking, capital management and payment solutions, with proven results to more than 150 specialist financial services organisations. Due to growth and innovation, they are keen to hire a motivated and driven Product Owner to join their high achieving team in a permanent role.
The Opportunity
A Product Owner role that will be supervising and driving the development and delivery of strategic plans for the newly formed Core Banking systems portfolio. Working with key stakeholders, this role is ideal for a driven Product Owner who would like to be a part of creating market leading products in a newly formed market for the business.
Key Accountabilities:
- Responsible for running sprints and delivering user stories
- Working closely with the Product Manager to build the roadmap, conducting discovery sessions with clients
- Mange with Product backlog and delivery
- Identify risks and issues then deliver solutions
- Understanding current and emerging trends in the industry
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Product Owner/ Delivery experience essential
- Competent with agile methodology
- Experience working on Core banking systems would be highly regarded, alternatively experience with technical transformations or cloud based plaftorms
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
