The role
Our client is looking to fill several roles in the technical and research space, with skills ranging between an analyst and a consultant. The main purpose of the role is to interrogate and understand data and be able to explain and articulate what it means. You will be adept at identifying trends and will analyse products, members, competitor analysis, and the spread across retail and group product through corporate and industry super funds.
Key Accountabilities
- Sitting in the wider product team, you will be data driven, and love all things mathematical and statistical
- Present the Why? Be able to prepare technical product presentations, documents, and articles
- Work closely with research houses to ensure that product features, rates and services are being accurately presented on behalf of the business
- As needed, you will prepare accurate product data for projects such as awards, surveys, written submissions, and tenders
- Strong Stakeholder management skills including interaction with internal Group and Retail partners and external Financial Advisors
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Demonstrated Life Insurance experience - required for the Consultant role, any previous experience in an investment research, technical or data role would be highly regarded for the Analyst role.
- For the Consultant role, you will be presenting these findings to board members and senior management, you will be highly polished and articulate
- Experience working within a team and the ability to work autonomously, to achieve planned goals and objectives
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and have strength in effective decision making
- A passion for data, have strong analytical and problem-solving skills
