The Opportunity
Due to significant growth plans, our client is currently looking for an experienced Actuarial Analyst to join their Life Insurance division. In this face paced and pivotal role, you will be responsible for supporting key business strategies as well as product and pricing initiatives through detailed analysis and reporting.
Key Responsibilities
Preparing reports relating to the performance of the individual business units and making recommendations
Supporting the external appointed Actuary in the fulfilment of their functions
Effectively and proactively handling queries and requests from internal stakeholders including the wider actuarial team, including report writing
Keeping up to date with any changes across the Life Insurance industry
Participating in Business and process improvement projects
To be successful you will have
Relevant tertiary qualifications and experience in an Actuarial or business-related field
Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role with in the Life Insurance industry
Experience in pricing
Strong analytical and research skills
Strong communication skills
Excellent stakeholder management skills
