The Opportunity
Reporting to the General Manager of Product, this is a commercially focussed role working on the General Insurance portfolio. It is an end-to-end role product role encompassing Product strategy, Product Development and Product Management.
Key Accountabilities
- Develop and drive innovative customer product strategies, and bring the product strategy to life
- Continuously monitoring performance to ensure product development activities reflect the overall strategy and needs of the business
- Day to day core product management duties
- Providing technical assistance on all Product and Underwriting matters
- Taking ownership of product launches and specific key product components
- Maintaining competitive and compliant products and solutions through research and analysis
- Striving to meet customer needs
To be successful in the role you will have
- Strong technical expertise across General Insurance in areas such as Product or Underwriting.
- Strong understanding of insurance markets, competitors and legislative environments
- Very good stakeholder management and interpersonal skills - influencing abilities is important
- Self-Motivated and results driven
- Excellent ability to come up with solutions to complex matters.
