The Opportunity
An opportunity has arisen for a Senior Investment Management Consultant (SME, Investment Management) to work closely with Senior Management to design a transformation program for a new investment management Target Operating Model. The role is critical in building the operational investment management capability within the company.
Key Accountabilities
Defining, articulating and documenting the requirements and details of a transformation program to establish the investment management capability across all front office functions, the main ones being
Exposure management and rebalancing
Portfolio construction
Manager selection
Research, review, identify and provide expertise on operational processes, policies and integrated systems (SAS)
Collaborating with relevant internal and external stakeholders, delivery teams and vendors
To be successful in this role you will have
Demonstrated experience in investment management/compliance/control/risk management
Direct experience in implementing exposure management and rebalancing is essential
Portfolio construction and manager selection experience is ideal
Strong understanding of investment processes, operational requirements, and regulatory environment
Experience in driving strategic and large-scale transformation programs
Experience in building operational investment functions
Strong interpersonal, stakeholder management and influencing skills
CFA, Actuarial or other relevant investment related qualifications
