The Opportunity
This is an initial 6-month contract opportunity for a Senior Manager - Managed Portfolios & Investment to lead the drafting, negotiation, and execution of complex platform agreements. You will play a key role in ensuring commercial alignment with strategic business objectives and regulatory requirements. This hands-on and strategic role will suit a seasoned professional who thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
The role can be based etiher in Sydney or Melbourne.
Key Accountabilities
Lead the drafting, negotiation, and end-to-end execution of investment platform agreements
Oversee rollout strategies to ensure timely and effective implementation of contractual agreements
Support regulatory change initiatives and ensure all documentation meets compliance standards
Manage rebate structures and fee agreements with a focus on operational effectiveness
Review and uplift fee structures to support commercial growth
Drive implementation of cost recovery enhancements and process efficiencies
Collaborate with the Disclosure Team to develop and maintain accurate product disclosure documents
Assist in executing product strategies aligned with market trends and client needs
Produce SOPs and lifecycle documents to support product clarity and operational consistency
Champion a collaborative team culture that values professional development and operational excellence
Ideal Experience
Wealth management or platform industry experience
Demonstrated expertise in legal drafting and execution of platform and investment-related contracts
Deep understanding of investment product structures, fee frameworks, and regulatory landscape
Proven ability to drive operational execution and strategic oversight
Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
Tertiary qualifications in Business, Finance, Commerce or similar; post-graduate qualifications (CFA, RG146, CFP) highly regarded
