This dynamic and thriving Australian based company who are a true market leader within their niche insurance sector are seeking an experienced product professional for a newly created leadership role within their product team. The Opportunity
Reporting to the Head of Product, the primary focus of this role will be to both manage a small team of product professionals and to drive the overall product plan, ensuring that they remain as the top Insurer within this space.
Key Accountabilities:
- Working with cross functional team members in the creation, execution and overall measurement of product value propositions.
- Undertaking market analysis and segmentation with a view to developing innovative, profitable, sustainable, and highly customer centric product offers
- Allocating relevant resources within the team to maintain the product governance framework
- Assisting the broader leadership team with driving innovation and negotiating contracts with external partners
- Working collaboratively with the broader marketing team to develop product marketing strategies
- Adhoc project work
To be successful for the role you will ideally have:
- Strong product management experience in General, Health or Life Insurance
- Previous leadership expereince directly or potentially within an acting role.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement skills and capabilities
- High energy levels with a real passion to be part of a collaborative leadership team which strives to be the best in the industry
- Excellent ability to come up with solutions to complex matters.
- Strong commercial acumen
