Job Description
To be successful in this role you will have;
- Previous experience with data governance tools (Data360 and Collibra are highly regarded)
- Ideally, experience with programming languages (eg. SQL) and/or data visualisation tools and/or ETL tools (e.g. SSIS)
- Strong knowledge of data governance frameworks and methodologies
- Ability to share knowledge and demonstrate teamwork
- Accountability and the ability to work autonomously to agreed deadlines
- Industry knowledge of Financial Services / Life Insurance is highly regarded
Key Accountabilities
- Creating and conducting governance processes to measure data management and data quality maturity across various domains
- Conducting data profiling and analysis of existing datasets to identify and categorise critical data elements and sensitive data
- Being the system expert and primary user of Data Governance Dashboard and Data Quality Tools
- Working with stakeholders to understand, prioritise and document business data definition catalogue, data quality, data governance requirements, processes and technical needs
- Assisting with compliance activities such as data protection, data privacy and data retention
