The Company

Our client is a consumer led, product focused company with a brand name that people love and trust. They are an Australian brand who is reinventing the mortgages industry. They are looking for an experienced and innovative Events Manager to join the team.

The Opportunity

This role is responsible for the development, management, execution and evaluation of the end-to-end event strategies to support the Sales and Distribution team. This role is a highly visible role across the business and a great opportunity to showcase your expertise and skills within events, with the responsibility of managing a direct report.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and enhance all event elements including logistics, exhibitions, agenda, collateral, registration, communication, merchandise, guest speakers, entertainment, social functions, bump in/out and full run sheet as well as budget.
  • Manage the implementation of event sponsorship including the management of the events and communications calendar outlined in the current Partnership Program for the business
  • Provide communications support for all distribution projects and initiatives that support the Chief Sales and Distribution Officer.
  • Prepare strategies to guide the state sales coordinators to raise standards and efficiencies in the execution of standard events

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • At least 4 years' experience within the events space in a corporate setting
  • Advanced PowerPoint skills
  • Strong communication, negotiation and stakeholder management experience
  • Financial Services preferred but not essential
