The Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a senior Head of Marketing to establish and execute a Marketing and Communications strategy aligned with the organisation's business goals.

You will be leading the marketing team and partner with select agencies to develop and manage the organisation's brand, communications, public relations, events, social media, and advertising. The role supports member engagement activities for retention and acquisition, collaborates with the Digital Team on the digital strategy, and reviews current marketing arrangements to optimise resources and budget.

The successful candidate will have a background working within superannuation or a funds management environment.

Key Accountabilities include leading a team which:

  • Develops and manages marketing campaigns and content for social media, website, emails, and promotional materials to promote the organisation's products and services.
  • Collaborates with other business units on initiatives supporting member engagement, retention, and acquisition.
  • Ensure brand consistency and assist with planning marketing events and promotional activities.
  • Monitor marketing performance, prepare reports, and align activities with overall business goals through collaboration with other units.
  • Lead the Marketing team, manage risks, budgets, and external provider relationships, ensuring compliance and optimal practices.

To be successful you will have

  • High energy, results driven with a forward future mindset
  • Track record of effective customer delivery including methods to retain and grow member & employers
  • Demonstrable experience of integrated digital marketing technologies and services
  • Experience in leading, managing and developing a team, with a particular focus on a high performing innovative culture.
  • 7 + years' experience within the superannuation or wealth management space at a senior level
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with high attention to detail
