The Role

There is currently an opportunity for a Manager, Digital Portals to join a high performing Member Growth and Digital team. The role will have digital product responsibility for Digital Portals and drive the ongoing development & optimisation of member, employer and client portal channels to deliver simple and engaging user experiences. This role is a permanent opportunity and can be based in either Sydney or Melbourne.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Provide digital product leadership and motivate the team to meet project deadlines within scope, budget and timeline, while identifying opportunities to improve the digital portal experience for members and business
  • Work with the Senior Manager in formulation of digital product roadmap and backlog for the ongoing development of existing member portal channels that aligns with the broader strategic vision and roadmap
  • Utilise both qualitative and quantitative customer feedback to identify best practices and perceived pain points in customer experience
  • Take the lead to collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders to build and continuously evolve the Fund's digital platforms and tools in accordance with human-centred design principles
  • Participate in delivering new web functions/services and tools that meet the needs of employers, members, staff and strategic partners in close collaboration with the Advice, Member Growth, and Member Experience functions

To be successful for the role you will have:

  • Experience as a senior digital professional with 10+ years' experience working in the financial services sector, preferably superannuation, or an understanding of member-based organisations
  • Strong project management skills, with a track record of successfully managing large programs of work with multiple streams - large transformation projects desirable
  • Proven success in delivering strategic concepts through to implementation and maintenance
  • Knowledge of customer centric design processes (UX/ information architecture, etc)
  • Tertiary or post-graduate degree qualified in IT, Marketing, Communications, Business or related discipline
