Our client is an ASX Listed specialist provider of investment administration services with a specialisation in managed accounts. They provide superior Superannuation, Administration and Technology solutions to some of Australia's leading Stockbrokers, Wealth Managers and Financial Advisory firms.

The role

The Product Analyst role sits within the Product Management team, reporting to the Product Manager - who together deliver on the product strategy and manage existing client offers. Product ownership extends to Superannuation, Pension and Investment Wrap as well as their extensive range of Managed Account solutions.

Key Accountabilities

  • Working with all relevant internal/external stakeholders to ensure all elements of the product offer are operationalised
  • Project management of changes to product as a result of enhancements, response to legislation or otherwise - work closely with IT teams, Risk, Legal and Operations
  • Developing disclosure documents for internal due diligence process before issuing to market
  • Become the SME on each product offer - be the go-to person for all product functions within the business
  • Develop product specifications for new client builds - work closely with distribution team
  • Build Product requirements for enhancements and upgrades

· Analyse external market looking for trends - develop business cases to improve existing business lines and develop new

· Competitor analysis - ensure our offers remain contemporary

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Relevant tertiary and financial services qualifications
  • Experience in the Financial Services Industry - ideally in the Wealth/Investment Management space
  • Basic understanding of the Wealth/Investment Management industry and products
  • Experienced user of the Microsoft suite of products (excel, word, power point)
  • Highly focussed and self-directed - able to work independently and without supervision
  • Well developed written, verbal and presentation skills
  • Able to quickly develop and sustain strong working relationships with all internal and external stakeholders
  • Curious and collaborative mindset - able to work effectively within a team environment and provide support and services to colleagues as required
