The Opportunity
A rare opportunity has now been created for an experienced Product professional to join their highly collaborative team on a permanent basis, with a primary focus on managing their insurance product offering.
Working with a very supportive and experienced Manager, you will gain invaluable experience and exposure across the entire organisation whilst having the autonomy to pave your own path and really make this role your own.
Key Accountabilities
Managing the product strategy and the fund's insurance offering in conjunction with the appointed Insurer and broader strategy team.
Providing technical support in relation to Life Insurance across the business and preparing presentations to the relevant internal committees
Manage the relationship with the Trustees
Ensuring risk is managed in accordance with the Fund's Risk Management Framework
Continuously working on initiatives with key stakeholders around product development to ensure membership growth, retention, and satisfaction.
Competitor analysis and ensuring ongoing compliance with relevant industry legislation.
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
Previous experience working within a Product function in Group Life insurance
An excellent understanding of product definitions and the ability to assess the impact they have
Strong knowledge of the financial service's regulatory framework
Customer centric mindset
Strong commercial acumen
Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills
Solid problem-solving capabilities
