This growing Investment Manager develops and distributes 'best in class' cross asset class product for retail and institutional clients across the globe. Due to a change in business ownership, they are looking to hire a series of senior individuals to help them curate the very best future for their growing customer base.
The Opportunity This unique role reports directly into the country head and will develop the multi asset product strategy for the Australian business. It is a multi-dimensional role which will require effective communication across all local stakeholders and potentially draw on global expertise. Due to the significant changes and growth of the organisation, there has been little time spent on the product strategy, therefore this role has visibility and backing to put an innovative framework together and roll it out across the business. While this is an 18-month contract at present, it is expected to move into a permanent role.
To be successful in this role you will possess; We are looking for a professional who has a varied background with experience in Product Strategy and Operations at a minimal however ideally has functional experience across the whole value chain of Investment Management. We require an individual who has worked in different parts of an Investment Management business to ensure they are able to bring a varied perspective into this role. They also need a top-notch communicator who can seamlessly liaise with the investment teams, as well as other key stakeholders.
Key Accountabilities
Experience in developing and executing product strategy within an Investment Management business or Consulting firm;
Background in two other areas of an Investment Management business such as operations, fund admin, sales, or product management;
Previous experience effectively communicating across a matrix run global business ideally;
Excellent collaborator.
