The Opportunity
This is a fantastic, entry level product opportunity for a life insurance professional to move to and develop their career in product management. The Product Analyst will support the Product team in the building, development and maintenance of the life risk insurance product suite.
Key Accountabilities:
Manage the Life Product inbox, respond to queries (including quote and premium calculation requests) and escalate as required
System testing support (assisting the Senior Product Manager)
Co-ordinate content and prepare quarterly Trustee administration reports
Monitor market activity and communicate any competitor changes to the Product team
Maintain up-to-date competitor comparisons for BDM use with advisers
Monitor research ratings and any changes that impact insurers
Prepare recommendations / sales tracking reports
Research house premium rate comparisons
The ideal profile for this role will have:
Life insurance industry experience (or potentially superannuation)
Operations, claims, middle/back office background
Understanding of life insurance products
Analytical mindset, good with numbers
Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
Curious, eager to learn
