The Role
There is currently an opportunity for an experienced Life Insurance Product Professional to join the Life Insurance team as a Senior Product Manager and drive the performance and improvement of the portfolio. The purpose of this role is to help build an insurance function with a member first mentality. This role reports into and will act as a 2IC to the Head of Insurance.
Key Accountabilities:
Drive and embed the Life Insurance Product strategy with internal stakeholders
Manage risk and product requirements
Work closely with insurance partner(s) to ensure business outcomes are met
Monitor and effect change in claims experience and premium rate reviews
Motivate and develop the Life Insurance Product team.
To be successful for the role you will have:
Extensive senior management experience within a Group Life Insurance function
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
Proven experience as a Product Management Professional
Strategic mindset and ability to look at the big picture
Sound understanding of governance and legislation
