The Company

Our client, a leading and innovative organisation that provides SaaS services to over 250,000 businesses globally, is looking for a new VP of Product.

This role would suit someone who is in an existing Senior leadership role or is currently in an existing VP of product role. You will be heading up a medium sized product team in a consumer focussed SaaS environment.

The Opportunity

As a VP of Product, you will be responsible for this product Globally and possess the ability to understand complex business and use quantitative analytics to drive decision making. You will oversee the product roadmap to ensure our customers software continues to exceed the expectations of their customers. To achieve this, you will become an expert in the evolving market they compete in, partner effectively with all internal teams and identify opportunities to grow the business.

You will manage the Product team who are working closely with engineering, design, marketing, sales, and customer support to drive large product initiatives from inception through development, release, and adoption at scale to ensure this organisation continues to deliver amazing experiences for their customers and maximise Return on Investment (ROI).

Responsibilities will include:

  • Owning the Strategic Roadmap - staying on top of a complex and rapidly changing market landscape and translating these changes into an actionable product roadmap
  • Being the Voice of the Customer and being in tune with the needs of the Company's current and prospective customers
  • Managing multiple market sectors
  • Leading and building a team and ensuring strong product culture whilst understanding the importance of continuous testing and learning
  • Implementing rigorous Product Management Processes across the organisation
  • Stakeholder Management - you will be communicating daily with Executive Team, Customers as well as sales, marketing and engineering teams
  • Partner with the UX and Engineering team to ensure all their processes work well together

The successful candidate will have:

  • Proven experience leading Product in a SaaS based Software company where the software directly drives the revenue
  • Experience with quantitatively evaluating customer feedback in a self-serve, high volume environment
  • Previous experience of running a product within a scaling technology company
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple product types and effectively serve the needs of all.
  • Experience of leading Product Design
  • Ability to take complicated analysis and make it actionable, whilst understanding how to tie insights back to economic outcomes.
  • A Collaborative approach with clear and effective communication style
  • Ability to prioritise requirements from all teams and communicate back to all effectively
  • Must possess a resilient attitude and a commitment to high work ethic
